Founded and Designed by Rocio Montalvo. I was born and raised in Ecuador.  From a very young age I got to known Tagua, whose production was exclusively for the consumption of buttons in countries like Italy and Germany. My inclination for design led me to create jewelry made front this precious Tagua nuts known as vegetable Ivory. Little by little we started working together with artisans in Ecuador, now my greatest pride and satisfaction is being able to help all these low income communities. Currently Tagua Jewelry is known throughout the entire world, being used in unique pieces 100 % Natural, handmade and eco friendly.

       Tagua or Vegetable Ivory, is the fruit of a wild palm tree that grows in the tropical rain forest of Ecuador. The Tagua nuts are used to manufacture buttons and handcrafts.

       Handmade Tagua Jewelry is beautiful, colorful. resistant and unique. It is a long process that takes to make the jewelry. However you will be amazed but he final product.

   The nut are collected by the locals, without causing any damage to the trees or theirs environments. The harvesting of theses nuts, constitutes a way of life for a large amount of locals in the rain forest. It also helps revalue the forest for its conservation.
